WITOLD ORŁOWSKI

President of the Supervisory Board

 

A graduate of Economics at the University of Lodz. He also studied at Harvard University (now Cambridge). He gained his doctor's degree at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz and he gained his habilitation degree at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. He is a professor specialising in applied econometrics and macroeconomics. His professional career began in the European Integration Office and the World Bank. He was a member of the Macroeconomic Council, an economic consultant to the Deputy Prime Minister and an economic advisor to the Chief Negotiator for the EU membership of Poland. He worked as the head of the team of economic consultants of President Aleksander Kwaśniewski. Between 2009 and 2010 he was a member of the National Development Council and the Economic Council. He is an author of numerous scientific publications and articles. He was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Polonia Restituta Order (2005).

 

MIROSŁAWA SZAKUN

Vice-President of the Supervisory Board

 

A graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Faculty of Law and Administration. In parallel, during post-graduate studies at the University of Gdansk, the Institute of Civil Law and Labour Law, she completed counsel training. Her professional career began at Przedsiębiorstwo Spedycji Międzynarodowej C. Hartwig (an international forwarding company). Between 1993 and 1994 she worked as a bankruptcy trustee of Bank Spółdzielczy in Kolbudy and as a Member of the Board of Directors of GE Money Bank S.A. in Gdańsk. Since 2002 she has been associated with the Conference of Financial Enterprises in Poland, as a Legal Advisor. Since 1994, she has had her own Legal Counsel Office.
